DENIA stands for "Desarrollo en el Ecuador de las Normas Industriales Alemanas" which translates to "Technological development in Ecuador according to German industrial standards".

Even though Ecuador is a member of ISO, not all small and medium companies are able to afford to the cost-intensive company certifications.

The goal of DENIA is to provide a sustainable high level of quality at moderate cost. Entrepreneurial activity is oriented on the quality norm ISO9001.

The underlying goal is traceability of development under consideration of the current level of technology and responsible action towards partners, clients, suppliers, and the environment.
